CASE STUDY

Behind the project

  1. 01

    The context

Schumacher is a luxury design house known for its fabrics, wallcoverings and rugs. The brand wanted a more immersive and playful way for interior designers to explore its collections beyond the product page. Built at Neotix, the Schumacher 3D House is a virtual home where designers can dress real rooms with products from the catalog.

  2. 02

    The challenge

Bring the visual quality of a high-end render to a real-time experience in the browser, on desktop and mobile, while keeping the interface simple for designers who are not used to 3D tools.

  3. 03

    The solution

An interactive house where users pick a room, apply wallcoverings, rugs, curtains and fabrics, and see the result under different times of day and scenery. Guided camera moves and contextual panels keep the exploration intuitive, and a snapshot exports the composition with the selected products to share with clients.

I was responsible for the front end and interaction, working alongside a developer and 3D artist @Anderson Mancini who handled the models, processing and lighting.

  4. 04

    The result

A live experience that turns the catalog into an interactive showroom, helping designers visualize products in context and share ideas with their clients.
